All significant truths are private truths. As they become public, they cease to be truth; they become facts, or at best, part of the public character; or at worst catchwords.

Do dogs have souls? (Part eighteen)
We can learn so much from dogs, can't we? No, I'm not suggesting that we should all jump into a great heap of leaves, I'm just suggesting that a little more of the exuberance, perseverance and zest for life wouldn't go amiss at times... It sometimes occurs to me that dogs will be very much at home in heaven!
Well, Iffy Dog. If I was God, probably more dogs would be there than humans. But if God is actually more D-o-g then people will be welcome (as long as they can throw a stick.)
14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city.
15 Outside are the DOGS, those who practise magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practises falsehood.
Of course we will! But will people be there....?

Scripture says:

So no heaven for Fido...
Begone, you bible bashing fundo! We don't allow canineophobia on this blog! :)
ReplyDeleteScripture also says, 'a living dog is better than a dead lion' (Eccles. 9:4) and
ReplyDeletethat wolves will be in heaven (Is 11 and 65).
Besides, PD, if you say anything like that again I'll get my mistress to bite you!
