That don't impress me much!

Well, I told you it wouldn't be popular (Rowan William's Pentecost letter below.) Ed Tomlinson and John Richardson are not impressed. What on earth did Rowan Williams mean when he said that his decision to exclude those who had broken the moritoria should not be a cause for celebration?

"no-one should be celebrating such public recognition of divisions" (section 5)

Do you see mass rejoicing? Any rejoicing? No? Me neither!

  1. I have decided not to invite Rowan Williams to my parish Summer Fete this year. I am sorry if this upsets him, and don't wish anyone to celebrate my decision. I am pleased, however, that Bishop Mary Glasspool has agreed to run the cake-stall.

  2. I am sure they could resolve things amicably over a few cherry buns and fairy cakes, Fr Hugh Jass. This could be the breakthrough the Anglican Communion needs.

  3. If Mr Tomlinson and Mr Richardson disagree with you then you can be sure you're right. It's an infallible rule.

The above link is for you, Poppy! On Christian premier radio you can hear John Richardson expounding his views on homosexuality. Jeremy Marks ( sound man) and Mike Dark of Accepting Evangelicals also contribute.

No, I haven't listened to it myself!
