All significant truths are private truths. As they become public, they cease to be truth; they become facts, or at best, part of the public character; or at worst catchwords.

Are British Christians persecuted?
Jonathon Bartley has written this article for Ekklesia in response to the letter, sent by several prominent Church of England figures and bishops to The Times, expressing the view that Christians are persecuted for their views and values.
