All significant truths are private truths. As they become public, they cease to be truth; they become facts, or at best, part of the public character; or at worst catchwords.

Rowan Williams has finally spoken condemning the Ugandan anti- homosexuality bill, although there have been some suggestions that the bill has caused such an outcry that it is unlikely to be passed in its present form. A ringing condemnation it certainly isn't, but the Archbishop has talked of the bill's "severity" - you can read more at the Ekklesia website or at Thinking Anglicans.
